How do I refinish an old circular wood picnic table and benches?
This picnic table is unfinished and has weathered for many years outside, but it's still in good condition so I'd like to restore it. The wood is very rough, and will probably need to be sanded (unless there's an easier way to smooth it out). It's never been painted, it's just been left to age naturally (lots of moss growing on it). The benches are still in good condition also. After I finish working on it, I'd like to put something on it to better protect it from rain, etc. I've never done this before, but I'm up for the challenge!
I think it goes by meter as you said as well as the extravagence in designs or simplicity. Is it the same pricing from city to city? ... See More
Outdoor wood picnic tables/benches - how to refinish?
We have some outdoor wood picnic tables that are currently unfinished and kind of grayish from being outside for years. I would like to sand them then apply a clear polyurethane finish on them. Is that what I would use? Is there a special kind that I need? I've never done this before so any help would be great! By the way, I don't know if this matters, but the tables are in the sun pretty much all day. Thanks for your help.
If I just sand it instead of powerwashing it, will it also work?
How can I revitalize an old wood bench?
I just bought a wooden glider-bench at a garage sale. It seems in fair shape, no rot and minimal rust, but the wood is VERY dry. It has some remnants of an old stain finish still in it; I'm certain it isn't paint.
After sanding it down to remove the rough places, how can I put some glow back into the wood? Wax? Oil? Special finish?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Can someone identify a source for a wooden, back-to-back glider swing for a children's playgym swin
I am trying to find a wooden, back-to-back glider swing for a children's playgym swingset like the one pictured here from Cedar Works Playsets:

Unfortunately, Cedar Works will not sell the swings to anyone that doesn't have one of their playsets and I don't. All I can find are molded plastic glider swings, but I want the wood glider instead. It would need to be shipped to the U.S. and I hope to pay under $200. Maybe there is a custom woodworker out there somewhwere that could make me one. Thanks for any sources you might know of.
Where can I find a good sale on outdoor patio (chair and bench) cushions?
I got a really nice outdoor patio set (3 wooden high-back chairs and 1 high-back bench) from my aunt who was getting rid of them. The only thing I need are cushions...but Im on a pretty tight budget and everywhere Ive looked the prices seem pretty steep. Are there any places that sell all weather-cushions that are reasonably cheap (but at the same time not cheaply made)?
Anyone have easy plans to build a tree bench?
I would like to build a simple bench around an apricot tree in my yard, but haven't been able to find any plans that aren't too difficult.

How do you put a bench between a tree? ?
One time I saw a bench formed into 2 trees... the trees were like formed and growing on top of the bench. help?
The trees grew over it, the bench was probably put there when the trees were small. See More
